The Lowest Price – Don’t Make the Mistake

More than likely, if  we are to bid on a job for you, we won’t be the lowest price. We know times are tough post-recession, but many many times the “contractor” with the lowest price will end up costing you more in the long run. A few months ago, I gave an estimate on a remodel job in Germantown. The so-called “contractor” scammed the home owner for $2,000 up front. He threw a few sheets of drywall up (at remarkably poor quality) and vanished a few days later. To clean up the mess this “contractor/theif” made, it was now going to cost the homeowner significantly more than had he not gone with the lowest price to begin with.

An excellent article on this can be found here.

Also, do not hire a contractor that is not insured and licensed in the state of Pennsylvania. If you do, your chances of getting burned go up significantly.

I am insured and licensed in Pa and will always be willing to sign a contract and provide you with proof of both my insurance and state license.

My PA license number is: PA062233

Below are some samples from that disastrous job in Germantown. Don’t let this happen to you! The lowest price is not always the best deal.
