This is the main living area from a recent drywall addition. It was a 74 sheet addition and repair. The repair work was done upstairs (photos below). In the living room, 5/8″ drywall was hung on the ceilings for sound control. On the butt joints, rock splicers were used to keep the joints as flat and invisible as possible. We also used a new solvent based glue which is manufactured to reduce nail/screw pops by a significant percentage.
